THE PERFECT SUIT REQUIRES PERFECT SHOES. THE TAILORING CLUB ACCESSORIZES WITH ICONIC ALLEN EDMONDS
To provide its customers with a complete head-to-toe look, The Tailoring Club is now launching the iconic shoe Allen Edmonds brand in selected Brothers stores. The meeting of the two brands is truly a perfect match.
The Tailoring Club traces its roots to the Brooklyn tailoring tradition in the US and Allen Edmonds – also known as “The Great American Shoe Company” – has produced handsewn shoes for 90 years. Allen Edmonds is perhaps best known for clothing every US president in its extraordinary shoes for the past 30 years. While The Tailoring Club’s history is somewhat more recent, the brand has already been awarded Café Magazine’s Fashion Award for newcomer of the year.
The model most commonly associated with Allen Edmonds is the brogue, a shoe that perfectly matches the look of The Tailoring Club. Like Allen Edmonds’ brogues, The Tailoring Club’s jackets and suits are masculine and functional, yet elegant. In combination, they create a look that is modern without being trendy and classic without being conservative. Another shared feature, of course, is the craftsmanship and conscientiousness with which high-quality menswear is created, resulting in garments that only become more attractive and comfortable over time.
Allen Edmonds shoes are available at the following selected Brothers stores: Kompassen in Gothenburg and in the Stockholm stores at Fältöversten, Sickla Köpkvarter and Liljeholmen.

Style & Life Lessons from the Tailoring Club
#1 Invest in a well-crafted tailored suit
that actually fits you.
#2 Make sure you know the rules (like such as, black shoes means black belt), but also have the confidence to break them.
#3 Get a new job in your suit.
#4 Approach a good-looking girl in your suit.
#5 Wear it wrinkled or perfectly pressed. Match it with your favourite broken-in denim shirt or with a white crisp shirt. Put on polished brogues, or your beaten-up sneakers.
#6 Get a pay raise in your suit.
#7 Have a look in the mirror
- you really do look great in that suit!
#8 Also remember: Be a nice guy in your suit.
#9 And please, don’t forget to dry clean
your suit every now and then.
#10 Travel to fun and exotic places in your suit (there are lots of useful pockets for your iPhone,
keys, wallet and passport).
#11 Have a laugh with your friends in your suit.
#12 Please, don’t sleep in your suit. Use a proper hanger and let the wool fabric breath fresh air for a few hours.
#13 Remember that good-looking girl you approached? Time to tell her you love her in your suit. And while you’re at it, propose in your suit.
#14 Treat your girl and your suit well, and they will do the same thing for you.
#15 Invest in a new suit from The Tailoring Club
(or why not a half-lined blazer with stitched-on pockets).
#16 And don’t forget to give your mother a call
(you know how handsome she finds you in a suit).
